Description: An older man who dresses like a well dressed Sage does, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is golden and very short. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alexandre does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the north to a Sage, Alexandre learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has achieved small success as a Bowyer.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: John was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spy for hire.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and to end his boredom

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He sports white clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He has moderate length silver hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's looking for his big break
