Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
