Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lewis embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His first spouse was a Masseuse, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, Lewis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and doesn't want to be a body guard and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he has money and likes to spend it
