History: He comes from a rich western family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He struck the Junk Dealer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a junk dealer and was forced into it by his family

History: Dean lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Dean never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
