Description: This southern man is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His clothes are grease stained in places. He wears his chestnut hair up. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Map Maker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears a green costume with the symbols of his god on his torso. His auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes are likewise violet.
Personality: Theodoric is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theodoric was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new cook responsibilities is difficult

Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized green coat. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He has done his best to style his white hair to look like a famous performer. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Jocelyn was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: He dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He has shaved his head bald. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: Balimaar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Cleric, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is an amazing painter.
History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Roofer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Carter, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in longbow use. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
