History: Born in the north to a Body Guard, Simon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Body Guard for hire.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
