History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When Ralf reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Ernest is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nicholas grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He got into the Bricklayer business at a young age. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and further expansion of business

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Beggar. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Manfred alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Beggar for the past few years.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and wants to work out more often
