History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Shane was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He passes on several rewards to people in need. History: Born in the north to a Painter, Nicholas learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
