History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Manfred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Manfred was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sailor. History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
