He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Bernard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.
