History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Manfred alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ploughman for the past few years.
