His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Gerald took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up trident and armor he uses now. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Herbalist. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he is greedy

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. A true patriot, Nicholas would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in the south to a Bather, Nicholas learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born in the east. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
