Description: This northern man is wearing a long, violet cloak. His clothes are grease stained in places. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Description: He stands about 5'7" and is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He wears a colorful flower in his black hair. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he has a crush on the local barkeep

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. He wears a brown vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His blue leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his brown boots flare out at the collars, marred by chocolates. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His amber eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Bernard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
