History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Balimaar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Bather, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with brown lining and desert motifs. His hair is long and red with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Heward alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is an amazing painter.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he's repulsed by the pc
