Personality: He is fixated on the number 49. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Locksmith. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: Raymond was born with his mother's beautiful face. After coming to the age of reason, Raymond took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his father's many stories. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new architect responsibilities is difficult
