Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Raymond is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
