History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Frederick embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he's looking for his big break

Description: This man stands a little under 6'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with blue colored cloaks and clothing. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He found a children's book about a Human Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
