History: Born to a pair of adventurers, William grew up listening to his father's many stories. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Adelard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Butcher and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
