Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mercenary born in the past three hundred years. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new mercenary responsibilities is difficult

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears black leather gloves, a black jacket, and tight pants. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He prefers to wear yellow clothing when he does not wear armor. His hair is red and curly. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Bertram was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Apothecary. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: This southern man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his greatsword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His clothes are grease stained in places. His golden hair is heavily combed to the right. His eyes are green and beady.

Personality: Peter is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'11" when asserting himself. His hair is golden and very short. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Everard isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Everard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Everard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
