History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He struck the Sage job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Richard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a engraver and was forced into it by his family
