History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. History: The child of a Navigator, who enjoyed hunting, Heward was taken on many hunting expeditions. Description: This man is tall and muscular. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gilbert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Gilbert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere.
