Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Shane was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shane's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Tim reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Tim never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
