He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Through the years after Shane was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shane's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has worked as a Carter like his father before him.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Butcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Crown-heir, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
