History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Human Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

He struck the Detective job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He worked as a nervous Bellfounder and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bellfounder for the past few years.
