History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: An older man who is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest, he is not a threatening figure. His blonde hair is cut short. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a mace and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing red cape and mantle trimmed with soft black waves gently in the breeze. His chestnut hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are violet.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Charles hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Charles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and retire the richest man in the east

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down
