Personality: Cory wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Barbarian, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Shepherd. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bertram is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Bertram abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
