Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His first spouse was a Miller, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Stableman, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Thomas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Don grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Born to a Herbalist, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a brown shirt, with a tan mid length shorts with tan tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them, and is pretty ugly. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He got into the Merchant business at a young age. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has taken up work as a Merchant and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new merchant responsibilities is difficult
