Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He was born into a rich family. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Charles was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
