Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, John grew up listening to his father's many stories. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
