Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He carries with him a set of glaives, each one with a opal on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has shaved his head bald. He is baby faced.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Chad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He works hard and plays hard.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: This malnourished man wears tan leather gloves, a tan jacket, and tight pants. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. His eyes are green.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears bulky brown painted plate armor. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He wears his chestnut hair down. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to be a body guard again
