History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He got into the Mason business at a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
