History: Gifted from a young age, John studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, John took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. John was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

History: Jocelyn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Butcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
