After coming to the age of reason, Heward took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his father died while driving off some illithids. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in lance use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
