History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Bertram was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Bertram's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Revenge; and wants to work out more often
