History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His childhood dream was to be a Shepherd, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cook for the past few years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in the south to a Carpenter, Chem learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Through the years after Chem was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Chem's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carpenter responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact
