History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Barendd was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Fisher. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He's also a talented Shipwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a strong sense of loyalty to gnomish people

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oren grew up listening to his father's many stories. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
