Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom

History: Born to a Baker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a tan costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His hair is long and silver with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Thomas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Painter and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Modean was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barkeep. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barkeep for hire.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and wants to raise his children well
