History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has achieved small success as a Cartwright.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ratak studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Being a Layabout kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has worked as a Ploughman like his father before him.
