When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Theobald was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he's repulsed by the pc

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Resh embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Orcs. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born in a small forest village. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He bought a kukri and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
