History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and to clean up the streets

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Anverth has worked very hard to control his curse. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
