He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Kelter embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Mason profession.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He struck the Animal Trainer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Prâk was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he wants revenge against illithids

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears green robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a flail, but if one is not available he will default to his longsword. He keeps his auburn hair in a flapper bob. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He takes great joy in being the best Butcher in town.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Butcher for the past few years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new butcher responsibilities is difficult
