History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Being a Guard kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against drow

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is an amazing painter.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: Gifted from a young age, Ulfgar studied abroad. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is his passion

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His silver hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ortegar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to reunite with his old friends
