History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Seamstress, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
