History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He worked as a nervous Animal Trainer and found it very stressful. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. During his travels, Chem and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Chem discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Chem fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
