He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Mindartis was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Mayor. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His red hair is unkempt and raggedy. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Chay was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barber they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Herbalist, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a herbalist and was forced into it by his family
