History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He carries a battered trident and tarnished morningstar as well. His gold crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His gold unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Heskan was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heskan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Pirithin was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Pirithin was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Detective who has hired him part-time. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Umpen's homeland. Umpen decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and to settle down with his crush

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
