History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Tanner and was forced into it by his family.

Naill's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
