History: Bertram was born the youngest of three triplets. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Hunter never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mayor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
