He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Thervan and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.
