History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
